At this year's ceremony for the international design award of Baden-Württemberg during which the "Focus in silver" and "Focus in gold" trophies are awarded, OSRAM's light and presence sensor LS/PD MULTI 3 CI received the "Focus in silver" throphy. Because this year's award focussed on "green" applications, the products submitted had to meet certain criteria of environmental compatibility and be excellently designed at the same time.

230 products from Germany and abroad had been submitted to the design centre in Stuttgart, where they were assessed according to different criteria. The result - in the category Energy and Building Services Engineering OSRAM's light and presence sensor convinced the jury and was the only light management product among the winners!

That was no surprise, because the sensor is extremely compact and can therefore be integrated in an inconspicuous manner as an device that can be installed in and on ceilings. Apart from this, installation is extremely simple and the device can also be retrofitted at any time.

It makes energy saving easy and looks good at the same time!
