What is multipixel LED technology?

Functionality that makes the difference

Intelligent FWL lifts car saftey to another level. ADB systems or multipixelated single LEDs elimiate the risk of dazzling oncoming traffic and by projecting warning symbols on the road car2x communication is enabled. Applications like permanent glare-fee high beam, projections of driver track assistance can even be realized by just one component.

In future multifunctional, intelligent headlamps will illuminate the road and communicate with the environment around at the same time. It enhances the drivers’ visibility while simultaneously reducing glare for other road users. As soon as oncoming traffic is detected the appropriate pixels are automatically switched off.

Digital light is used for projection purposes with decorative functions. For example, before the driver enters the vehicle the light displays a personalized welcome message; thus, interacting in a playful way. Read more about pixelated LED technology

Efficiency of light and energy
EVIYOS® enables an active distribution of light. Only light pixels which are needed are energized and switched, others are not active. This makes EVIYOS® very efficient and ideal for energy-saving concepts or electric vehicles.

Scalable system provides large field of view
EVIYOS® can be configured to cover different fields of view depending on the application area. For example only the central section can be filled with high resolution and the remaining field of view can be supplemented with discrete LEDs.

Compact design with high power
